Ingredients

- 2-3 pieces of jalebi (store-bought or homemade)

- 60 ml (2 oz) cream (white or spiced)

- 15 ml (1/2 oz) orange liqueur (e.g., Cointreau)

- 30 ml (1 oz) fresh lime juice

- 15 ml (1/2 oz) simple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

- Ice cubes

- 60 ml (2 oz) soda water or tonic (optional, for a lighter drink)


Garnish

- Small piece of jalebi or lime wheel

- Mint leaves (optional)


Instructions


1. Jalebi Infusion:  

   - Place 2-3 pieces of jalebi in a bowl and pour the cream over it.  

   - Let it infuse for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for a stronger flavor.  

   - Strain to remove solids, keeping the infused liquor.


2. Shake: 

   - In a cocktail shaker, combine the jalebi-infused liquor, orange liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup.  

   - Add ice and shake well for about 10-15 seconds.


3. Serve:  

   - Strain the mixture into a chilled glass over ice or into a coupe glass if serving straight.  

   - Top with soda water or tonic if desired.


4. Garnish:  

   - Place a small piece of jalebi on the rim or float it as a garnish. Add a lime wheel or mint for a fresh touch.

Tips:

- Adjust the simple syrup based on the sweetness of the jalebi.  

- For an extra aromatic twist, add a dash of cardamom or a drop of rose water.
